Among the many things I loved about this project (out 25 September) is that I was able to bring in dearest Andrew Batt to do the remastering. Like so many other people, I have admired his catalogue restoration work so much – most recently five absolutely revelatory vinyl reissues of Marianne Faithfull’s Decca period (and an accompanying boxed CD version) and also including the Bobbie Gentry box for which he was deservedly Grammy nominated.
And thanks also to Joe Marchese who pointed me towards Paul Bevoir who, in turn, designed the lovely trifold digipak and booklet.
